PE Days

PE is on the following days and children must come to school in PE kit on those days.

Willow Class- Tuesday

Starling Class- Tuesday

Heather  Class- Tuesday

Homework

Please ensure your child has their reading book in school every day.  Your child would benefit from reading every evening with an adult. Children will have access to books from our new school library and books for fluency practice.

Your child's library days are Monday and Friday, please ensure books are brought back into school by this day if your child would like to change their book.

Children across the school have access to Times Table Rockstar and Spelling Shed to practise their times tables and spellings. Please encourage your children to play this at home as well as at school if possible. They should be doing their times tables and spellings at least 2 times a week.

Swimming

Learning to swim is an important part of the National Curriculum.

Each class in Year 3 will have one week of daily swimming lessons.

Children need to wear their swimming costume/swimming trunks under their uniform to school and bring a towel and underwear in a separate bag ( not their normal school bag).

Children need to be at the front of the school for 8:15.
